As with all screening tests, a non-negative result requires a secondary confirmatory test performed using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectometry (GC/MS) by a NATA accredited laboratory.
 
 
Directions for Use 
 
Follow these steps to ensure accurate test results:
1. Prepare the Test
Allow the sealed pouch, device, and the oral fluid collector to reach 15–30°C before opening.
Open the pouch only when ready to test.
Use the test device immediately after removing from the pouch.
 
2. Collect the Oral Fluid Sample
Place the sponge end of the collection stick in the mouth.
Move it around the gums and cheeks to soak up saliva.
Keep the sponge in the mouth until it becomes fully saturated (typically 2–3 minutes).
When full, remove the collector from the mouth.
 
3. Insert Collector Into Test Device
Push the saturated collector firmly into the test device until it locks into place.
Make sure it is inserted fully to activate the test.
 
4. Begin Test Reaction
Lay the device on a clean, level surface.
The test will start running automatically as the saliva migrates through the strip.
 
5. Read the Results
Check the result at 3–10 minutes.
Do not read before 3 minutes and do not read after 10 minutes.
